Assurance University Holds Seminar to Educate on Construction Safety and OSHA Compliance

SCHAUMBURG, IL (February 25, 2010)- Assurance Agency, based in Schaumburg, IL, is offering an educational seminar titled “OSHA 10-Hour Construction Training.” The two part seminar will be held on March 24, 2010 and March 31, 2010 at Assurance’s headquarters and is designed for foreman or superintendents working in the construction field.

This training seminar will provide an overview of key issues related to construction safety and OSHA compliance. The topics include: ladder safety, electrical safety, fire protection, fall protection, trenching safety, personal protective equipment, crane safety, and scaffolding safety. Top OSHA citations will also be discussed as well as how to handle an OSHA inspection.
