Assurance Volunteers Roll Up Their Sleeves for Clearbrook Center

SCHAUMBURG, IL (May 20, 2010) - Assurance Agency Ltd., located in Schaumburg, IL, recently completed another Assurance Caring Together (ACT) event. ACT is Assurance’s charitable program which provides monetary support to various charities, hosts multiple supply drives and offers employees a paid day to volunteer at a charitable event throughout the year.

On Tuesday May 18, 2010, eight Assurance employees assisted Clearbrook Center (www.clearbrook.org) by painting the interior of a family’s home in Mount Prospect, IL. Clearbrook devotes its energy and resources to enhancing the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities. They serve almost eighty communities throughout the Chicagoland area, impacting the lives of 2,900 children and adults. ACT has 15 volunteer events planned for this year to accommodate volunteer time for over 200 employees and will be back to assist Clearbrook Center with another house painting project this August.
