Assurance Ranked 66th Largest Insurance Brokerage in United States

SCHAUMBURG, IL (July 23, 2009) - Assurance, headquartered in Schaumburg, IL, has been named the 66th largest insurance broker of U.S. business by Business Insurance magazine. In just two years the company has jumped up 16 spots in the ranking driven exclusively by organic growth, and not by acquisition. Assurance’s revenues, defined as commissions and fees derived directly from insurance services, were calculated by Business Insurance at over $39 million for the 2008 business year.

The top ranking comes after news Assurance was named a “Best Place to Work” by Crain’s Chicago Business, The Business Ledger and the National Association for Business Resources.
