Assurance Named as One of Chicagoland's 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For
SCHAUMBURG, IL (July 1, 2009) - Assurance Agency Ltd., located in Schaumburg, IL, was recently named one of Chicagoland’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For. This is the company’s fourth consecutive year earning a spot on the list. The 101 Best and Brightest awards, administered by the National Association for Business Resources, honor companies that recognize employees as their greatest asset.
The selection of the 2009 winning companies is a result of an independent research firm that evaluates each company’s entry in the following categories: communication, community initiatives, compensation and benefits, diversity and multiculturalism, employee education and development, employee engagement and commitment, recognition and retention, small business, recruitment and selection, and work-life balance. Lisa Pinion, Assurance Vice President, Human Resources commented, “We are so honored to be recognized among the best and brightest Chicago offers once again. It truly validates our culture of appreciation and the efforts our employees exert every day to successfully execute our company’s vision.”
“We are honored to recognize the efforts of this year’s 101 'Best and Brightest' companies. These companies have created impressive organizational value and business results through their policies and Best Practices in human resource management. This award has become a powerful recruitment tool in the drive to attract and retain exceptional employees,” said Jennifer Kluge, NABR president.
Judy Hsu from ABC-7 Chicago News and Pat Cassidy from WLS 890 AM News Radio will emcee an awards ceremony for the winners, which will be held on August 10, 2009. A series of workshops covering leading human resources topics will also be presented.
